PEAK is a demanding co-op climbing and survival game that tests your skills in teamwork, resource management, and navigation. With over 30 achievements, known as “Badges,” to unlock, a 100% completion run requires not only a good understanding of the game’s mechanics but also a strategic approach to each expedition. From mastering the game’s core progression to tackling obscure, multiplayer-focused challenges, this guide breaks down every achievement and gives you the tools you need to conquer the mountain. The key to success is patience, communication, and a willingness to learn from your mistakes. All achievements can be unlocked on the “Tenderfoot” difficulty, which makes the experience much more manageable by reducing stamina drain, slowing hunger, and removing the time limit. The island’s layout also changes every 24 hours, so if a particular challenge seems impossible on one map, waiting for a new one might be the key to victory.

Progression and Milestone Badges

These badges are tied to your main objective: climbing the mountain and reaching the summit. They are the most straightforward achievements to unlock and will likely be earned naturally as you play the game.

  • Beachcomber Badge: Light the campfire at the top of the first area, SHORE.
  • Trailblazer Badge: Light the campfire at the top of the second area, TROPICS.
  • Alpinist Badge: Light the campfire at the top of the third area, ALPINE.
  • Volcanology Badge: Light the campfire at the top of the fourth area, CALDERA.
  • Peak Badge: Reach the very top of the final area, the PEAK, and escape the island.
  • High Altitude Badge: Climb a total of 5,000 meters. This is a cumulative achievement and will be unlocked naturally over multiple runs.
  • Bouldering Badge: Place 10 pitons. This can be done over several expeditions.
  • Knot Tying Badge: Place 100 meters of rope in a single expedition. You will need to find around eight rope items to achieve this.

Solo and Challenge-Based Badges

These achievements require a more strategic and sometimes solo approach. They test your mastery of the game’s survival mechanics and your ability to plan ahead.

  • Lone Wolf Badge: Escape the island in a solo expedition. This is a difficult but rewarding challenge that requires careful resource management and route planning.
  • Speed Climber Badge: Escape the island in under an hour. You’ll need to know the map layout well and move as efficiently as possible. A good knowledge of the game’s stamina-boosting items is crucial.
  • Survivalist Badge: Escape the island without ever losing consciousness. This means avoiding all forms of harm, including hunger, heat, frost, and poison, all the way to the end.
  • Balloon Badge: Escape the island without taking any fall damage. This requires a cautious and slow approach. Use ropes and pitons for all descents to be safe.
  • Leave No Trace Badge: Escape the island without placing any items (ropes, pitons, etc.). You are allowed to use shelf fungus and magic beans, as they are considered natural items.
  • Endurance Badge: Climb 50 meters upwards without touching the ground. This can be done by finding a smooth, steep wall and using stamina-boosting items like Energy Drinks or Lollipops. The Chain Launcher can also be a useful tool for this.

Multiplayer-Specific Badges

These are co-op achievements that require you to play with friends. They focus on teamwork and communication.

  • First Aid Badge: Heal your friends for a total of 100 points of injury in a single expedition. Bandages and Med Kits are your best tools for this.
  • Clutch Badge: Resurrect 3 scouts in a single expedition. The easiest way to get this is to have three friends die near an ancient statue at the end of a zone, then use the statue to revive them all at once.
  • Emergency Preparedness Badge: Heal an unconscious friend with an item to save them from death.
  • Happy Camper Badge: Get 5 morale boosts from campfires. This requires you to be near a campfire when another player activates it. Since each map has four campfires, you’ll need at least two runs to unlock this.
  • Participation Badge: Have a friend escape the island without you. You must be a ghost (dead) when your friend reaches the top.

Exploration and Collection Badges

These achievements are all about exploring the world and finding its secrets, from food items to hidden journal entries.

  • Foraging Badge: Eat 5 different berries in a single expedition. Explore the SHORE and TROPICS zones thoroughly to find all the different types of berries, including poisonous ones.
  • Mycology Badge: Eat four different non-toxic mushrooms in a single expedition. The mushrooms are found in damp, forested areas.
  • Gourmand Badge: Cook and eat a coconut half, an egg, a yellow winterberry, and a honeycomb, and then escape the island.
  • Naturalist Badge: Complete the game without eating any packaged food. Stick to cooked meals and foraged goods.
  • Cooking Badge: Cook 20 meals at campfires. The plane at the start of the game has plenty of coconuts, making it an ideal place to get a head start on this.
  • Plunderer Badge: Open 15 luggage in a single expedition. The luggage spawns are consistent for a given day’s map, so memorizing their locations can help with this.
  • Bookworm Badge: Read all of Scoutmaster Myres’s journal entries. The pages spawn as scrolls near the campfires at the end of each area. There are 8 pages in total, and their spawn is tied to the area you open the scroll in. You will need to make multiple runs to find all of them.
  • Esoterica Badge: Obtain a mystical item. These can be found in ancient luggage or by activating an ancient statue.

Hidden and Quirky Badges

These are the secret achievements that add a bit of flavor and humor to the game.

  • Animal Serenading Badge: Play the bugle for a capybara. The bugle is found on the starting plane, and capybaras can be found in a hot spring in the ALPINE zone.
  • Bing Bong Badge: Help the Bing Bong plushie escape the island. Carry the plushie from the starting plane all the way to the end and escape with it in your inventory.
  • Mentorship Badge: Meet Scoutmaster Myres. This can be triggered by either using the Scoutmaster’s Bugle or by a player wandering far away from their group.
